Mill Tower

A beautiful afternoon in Pickering. Would have been tempted to go further afield but Jet is still on short walks on the lead. His paw is doing well so hoping he will be back on track soon. At the moment we are managing without a cone as he is not nibbling at the wound. Although we apply a bandage at night just in case.

This is Mill Tower at the SW corner of Pickering Castle. The lower part acted as a jail accessed from inside the castle. When open the English Heritage flag flies from the pole. I quite liked the bush full of berries down at its base.
