Hiding.....
Each time I go down to Cromwell Bottom I'm hoping there will be Jays there but to date I've hardly seen any. There was a time a couple of years ago when there were so many it made them seem easy to capture, but it's Bluetits and Chaffinch that are the most plentiful now. A construction of twigs and branches shaped like a tepee has been built at the hide and the small birds seem to love it, I suppose they feel safe there in between daring to come out in the open for seeds and nuts.
Thank you for visiting my journal and for the lovely comments and stars left for "Dirty Dick's" yesterday - I was pleased so many of you like it.
