Food bank

Today l volunteered to help the local food bank - a national disgrace in my opinion! This involved donning a bright green tabard and asking people as they came into our local hypermarket to buy something extra off of the photoed list and donate it. I do this about 3 times a year for a couple of hours each time. It was freezing but l am warmed by the extra that people do buy and donate, l think we recognise at the basest level it could be us at any stage.
