First Day of Summer??

This morning dawned cloudy and, would you believe, cold. It was hard to believe today is the first day of summer. It was so chilly we lit the fire in the wood burner. Maisie certainly appreciated the cosy glow and curled up in her day bed nearby. The day improved with sunshine in the afternoon. Maisie and I enjoyed a walk by the river together this evening.
