We took Amelie to the cinema for the first time ever today! It was a bit of a spur of the moment decision although we had been planning on doing it for ages. It was another boiling hot day and the thought of sitting in the cool, air conditioned cinema really appealed to us! We were going to see Brave but I was unsure if it was a little old for her so we chose the Lorax instead. She was quite overwhelmed at first with the screen, the noise and the dark and she just sat in her seat looking awed but once the film started she relaxed and was even up dancing in the space in front of our seats! She paid attention the whole way through, we were very impressed!
