6 o'clock surfer

The caber is still there on the rocks!   Arrived very late to check and as I was snapping away, I noticed something bobbing just offshore in the waves.  It was a lonely surfer, much further down than normal, but enjoying the waves even in the almost dark.  The caber is in the foreground.

The extra shows the surfer going back out under a breaking wave.
