Seedheads

We had a lovely day for our club walk today over near Musselburgh.  It was a 7.5 mile walk, not difficult, partly on an old disused mine railway line which has been turned into a walking/cycling route.  Lots of information enroute about the mines and the industry that used to be here. 

But nothing industrial at all about our route, which meandered through forest and glen before we walked the railway line.  There was a lot of plant life still around, also lots of berries, but I rather liked these seedheads.

Had a lovely pub break afterwards before hitting the road home.
