A rose, just a rose

Temperatures of 8C today .... it was almost warm!  We had none of the forecasted frost.  The sun tried rather unsuccessfully to shine while L and I had the dogs out this morning.  We did have a little rain round about lunchtime but nothing too dramatic.

I cleared up some leaves in the afternoon and then walked down to the supermarket for milk ..... I always seem to run low on the white stuff.  I'm always surprised at how many roses are still in bloom at this late date in November.  J's garden never fails when I'm looking for a blip.
