Many cats have little loyalty to their owners, and Rosie cat is one of them. She prefers the daytime comfort of my friend's flat with thick rug and sunshine streaming in the French window to her home in the upstairs flat with the indignity of squeezing through a cat flap to reach the outside.
However the settee is out of bounds although she seems to think that if she stares long enough at one of the visitors there might be the chance to inveigle herself up while the hostess is out of the room.

Rosie enjoyed her companionable morning with the cycling ladies as much as I did, but we had to leave and she stayed.
