Pink sky

I was so keen to catch this sunset before it was gone that I actually ran outside and round the corner to get a better view - I'm afraid I live at the bottom of a hill so it's not the most spectacular view. The dog walkers gave me a few funny looks.

I was Hilary's taxi a lot of today, driving her from work to brass band and back. Got a taste of what mum and dad have been doing for me for the last 19 years or so.

I also went to a team catch-up barbecue for the Scone holiday club I helped at a few weeks ago. We braved the threatening rain for as long as we could but then had to retreat inside to finish our cake. Typical Scottish weather. It's supposed to be nice! The schools have gone back. That's what usually happens at least after the holidays.
