RSNO St Andrew's Night

A brilliant night of traditional music, pipes and drums, with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland. Great seats near the front.

Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain in fine form. John Logan conducting. Eddi Reader sang beautful arrangements of Robert Tannahill poems - 'Meg o' the Glen' and 'Gloomy Winter's noo awa'. Julie Fowlis sang several Gaelic songs, and demonstrated some very fast mouth music. Much enjoyed the whole event.
