#PSYAP (Telling it like it is...)

So much of the joy and privilege that my job entails is the days spent working directly with young people. Today was one of those days.

It was the final presentation of the fabulous Police Scotland Youth Advisory Panel - a group we have supported to work with Police Scotland and it's senior team for the past two years.

They have worked so hard, been so thoughtful, developed such insight and been so compassionate and caring in their wise challenge and counsel when discussing strategy and policy around youth engagement.

It was obvious that they have had a huge impact on all those they have worked with and created such strong foundations to take their recommendations and ideas even further.

The added joy for us of course has been watching the personal development of the young people throughout the project and process. We have watched them grow, in so many ways, literally and figuratively! And we are so incredibly proud of them and all they have achieved.

No wonder I reckon I've got one of the best jobs in the world.
