Fremont Point TV Transmitter (Jersey)

Jersey isn't something I've spoken about much during my time on Blipfoto ... but for the record, it is Guernsey's "sister" island ... Situated some 20 - 25 miles southeast of Guernsey, it's slightly bigger and somewhat closer to France than we are ... and full of "Crapauds" (common toads) (although Jersey locals prefer to refer to themselves as "Jersey Beans") (for some reason they seem to think that being called a 'crapaud' is in someway derogatory) (as if...) ... ;o)
(BTW ... Guernsey born residents are known as "Donkeys") (but that's another story) ... :o)

I digress.
This morning I decided to venture to a car-park on the south-eastern point of Guernsey so as to capture the sunrise ... and here it is ... appearing from behind Jersey ... with the Fremont Point TV transmitter in front of it ... and a crapaud waving at me from the top of the mast ... (although he's a bit difficult to see from this distance) ... (in fact it might just be a toad) ... (or a bean) ... :o)
