Above the Sea of Fog

..... a sunset.

But there were so many other moments of beauty on the walk up to the summit of the Croix de Chaux this late afternoon (see https://www.flickr.com/photos/hilarysview/) including a winter-coated dog fox also watching the spectacle. In extra there is the rather sad sight of unmoving chairlifts, emerging from the fog, above grassy fields. No snow in the offing as long as high pressure continues to sit over Switzerland.

Thanks for all the gasps, hearts and stars for yesterday's wing fliers. I don't think I have ever had as many comments on a blip before!
