Frank Turner

A day of the theatre for me. Gangsts Granny in High Wycombe with Oliver early in the day, then over to Oxford to see Frank Turner play the New Theatre.

I have been fortunate in the past to get a photo pass from Frank, and he kindly obliged this time too. Very different photographing in a theatre to a music venue.

The place was jumping from the get go, and the best part of a 2 hour set, which was rousing, anthemic, and moving in equal parts.

Frank's song Get Better strikes a chord with me, as it was one that I played a lot this time last year when I was struggling with anxiety and depression, and to have that pretty much at the end of the show was a great way to finish.

Thank you Frank, you're a gent.
