Crathes Castle and Garden

I was going to spend much of the latter part of the afternoon puppy sitting with Cosmo. I guessed she would not be in the mood much to go for a walk on a dark and damp afternoon, so we took ourselves to Crathes Castle garden while the day was still light.

A walk around the walled garden was followed by a visit to the cafe where we both had an ice cream. Well the day was not that cold.

It turned out I was right about Cosmo. She was quite keen to go out for a walk, but the enthusiasm wore off very quickly. While not actually making a sit down refusal to go anywhere she made it quite clear after about 15 minutes that her preference was to return home to the dry and warmth.
