The Jurassic Coast
It being a lovely afternoon today, if a bit cold, we wondered along the coast near Seatown (Now called the Jurassic Coast) and admired the path eastward up over Doghouse Hill. The sky was clear and the shadows showed the old tracks and field marking on the side of the hill. Out to sea on the left the little piece of coastline is the Isle of Portland on the seaward end of which is the Portland Bill lighthouse which marks the place where some six or seven currents meet causing dangerous sea conditions
