Partied out

We didn't get a lot of sleep last night. I'm not sure exactly what time we went to bed but i think there was a 2 in the time. I got woken by Ben at some pint as the sun came up, because he needed a wee. By a cockerel called Bubbles. And then by a tractor out cutting hedges early. However, the mini pinks both slept in until 10/11 ish which I am very grateful for. I had tea, and veggie sausage sandwiches, and sat in the sunshine with my friends.

Later we tidied and cleaned up. Eventually once the tents were down, we headed home, realising that last night we had left the house with Miss PInk's sandals on the roof of the car. Well they weren't there now. She had had a strop about which shoes to wear....Mr Pink had put the shoes on the roof of the car, and we forgot. We searched on the way home, and we found one of the sandals. I went out again after we'd got home to look for the other, and couldn't find it. Then Mr Pink went to look and came back victorious - phew.

The rest of the day was spent inside/outside/in the paddling pool as it was really hot again. None of us had any energy left. We just can't party like we used to!!
