Before the Drizzle

BB was up too early today.  He was excited as he was heading to Glasgow to the Scottish Grand Prix badminton competition.  We have been in previous years.  The children get some coaching in the morning and then get to watch the finals in the afternoon.  I didn’t go this year, but his friend’s dad agreed to keep an eye on him for me.  It was a very long day – leaving home around 9am, and not getting home till after 8pm.  He had a great time, and was exhausted.  He managed to eat something before going straight to bed.

I had a quiet and unproductive day. I spent the morning pottering, and then after lunch we went over to North Berwick and had a nice walk round town and long the beach, until the weather closed in on us, and we hurried back to the car.
