What a difference two hours makes
I saw this woman the other day, I walked past her as she was waiting at the red light, except she didn't take her eyes off her phone. The lights changed and apart from a glance to see the green light, she didn't take her eyes of her phone, she must have driven presumably using her superhuman powers to guide her, I am a mere mortal, requiring to use my eyes to guide me. I wish I had her superpowers. But more than anything, especially as she was driving onto my street, I wish she would possibly concentrate more on the road ahead.
We had a visitor today, a visitor from another planet. His name was the artist formerly known as the number one son. He was a tired and extremely grumpy individual and not only was it not his day it was not the day of anyone who happened to run into him between 1-2pm. A forced sleep, well, not physically restrained, he is still of an age where if you lie him down, he will remain there, what a compliant grumpster, anyway, a forced sleep and two hours later, he was reborn Mr Happy. All the weirder as I'm sure he must have been extremely hungry.
Note to self, noodles more often please.
Had the pleasure of a visit from a good friend today who has bene through a few tough months but has come out the other side renewed and flourishing in a new relationship, such a delight to see.
