Arisdale

It's been a lovely sunny and calm day.  A tad chilly, but we can cope with that :)

Up early, picked up friend Julie, and we set off for Unst.  Our first ferry was at 11am, and then had almost 2 hours to kill in Yell, so we went exploring.  Next ferry to Unst was 12.50pm, and arrived at sister Julie's by 1.30pm.  We were greeted with lunch.  Mam was also there, as it's been niece Lottie's birthday weekend.  We popped by the Baltasound hall in the afternoon, a Christmas craft fair was on, and some great items.  We headed through Lerwick on the way home for a bag of chips.  Mam and niece Elise popped by tonight, and now feet are up.

We had time to explore Yell, so we headed to an old house I had been wanting to visit for years.  We had Sammy and walked over the hill.  The old house is falling apart, roof leaking, and windows smashed.  But inside, most of the furniture is still there.  Taken at Arisdale, South Yell.
