Zwartbles

Just look at that fleece.
This is a Zwartbles Sheep - and is quite rare here in the South Pennines.
The breed originates in the Friesland region of the Netherlands, which can be very cold, wet and windy.  It is therefore suited to the Pennine weather.
I wonder why we don't see more.
