Chummeralp

Slept as long as I could because I felt a "bug" creeping up last night with a soare throat and a bit of coughing. Slow start.

There was a thin layer of snow today and we decided to try out our new heavy snow hiking boots for the first time this afternoon. From Frauenkirch up to Chummeralp, over to Stafelalp and back to Davos Frauenkirch. Tested the boots in all conditions up and down as well as mud, snow, water and gravel. See extra for P. in the snow. Boots are good!

Back home at 4pm. Salmon, sweet potatoes and fennel in the oven (Vinattieri 2013 Merlot Bianco in the glass). Back in Zurich at 8pm. Planet Earth on BBC1 soon..
