Near Threipmuir
A belter of a day - fine and clear and cold, so once the car was scraped we headed up the Kirkgate, stopping to photograph the frozen flowers, and on via Harlaw to the high ponds. Everything was frozen and quite magical, so we set off up Bavelaw and along the Cleugh. Great clear the head stuff.
Later, off to George St to see the Christmas lights and music. Dreadful! Disgraceful! Music from the Moira Anderson/Peter Morrison songbook and random lights switching on and off. Hordes stood and gawped. Is this all there is?
So, onward - a meet up at Sandy Bells with L and MrT and a stroll over to see The Influence Machine at George Square; pretty clever and impressive projections but the eerie voiceover began to grate - it was really just a lot of old tosh.
