A call in to see the daughter hard at it up at the florist's workshop. She took us through the little speech she was intending to make at the funeral - just perfect - and it made me very happy to hear and realise again how close they were, despite being separated by almost exactly 60 years. That Robbie Williams could fairly straddle the generations.
