Bradley Wiggins in Barnoldswick

Bradley Wiggins came to Barnoldswick today, leading cyclists on a 160km route round the local countryside. I took a lot of arty, blurry, shots of bikes in motion and whizzy backdrops, but I also managed to keep in focus long enough to capture the man himself.

It was his first post-olympics appearance, so I'm told, and there were huge crowds with many young ladies sporting false sideburns. I'm not much a sports watcher but I got a real buzz from being able to photograph this exciting spectacle.
