Advent Sunday

One of the many things I have learnt from blip is the observance of Advent. Last December I found it interesting to see how people decorated their homes.  What type pf candles they had and what the lighting of them meant.  Tonight I have lit the first of four tea lights in glass holders. 
From tomorrow I will turn off my comments because I expect to be a tad busy.  The packers come on Tuesday and on Wednesday the big truck will be loaded and driven away.  We follow on Friday driving straight through to Wellington and crossing on the ferry that afternoon.  We will then drive to Hope where the foresters brother lives and crash into bed. Google tells me that is 659 km / 409 miles.  Our furniture will arrive at the new house on Monday.
