Guardian of the lemons
SHE told me to tell you (by thought transference) that even after 50-odd years in Adelaide, she still gets a thrill of picking lemons from the tree in the back yard. SHE says there's something exotic about it.
Personally, I don't see the point. They are sour and I don't like them at all. But, seeing that it's important I shall guard them with all the skill I have at my paw tips.
We have been hobbling around the garden this morning, doing bits and pieces, and now our ankle is very sore (hardly surprising you might say, just don't let her hear you), so we have come inside for a little sit and a cup of tea.
