Turnstone

Apologies.  I did threaten a seal as my blip, and I have got some amazing pics of seals but I also got this beautiful Turnstone.  Never been able to get such a good shot of one before.. If you are missing them take a look at my Flickr account.  I have uploaded todays pics.  

Was at the beach for 7am this morning and took a couple of shots of the sunrise.  I never got to see them thought as I deleted them by accident when my camera flashed that the cards were full.  This could not have been the case I thought, but soon discovered what was wrong.  I hadn't emptied the card the last time I uploaded from it.  Easily remedied but I got carried away and removed the sunrise.  Never mind.  They weren't that inspiring anyway.  Seal count today is 1721 new born pups.  Then obviously the cow and bulls.  the beach is quite full now.   

The morning was bright but cold.  The afternoon appeared to get colder so I stayed in.  I was really pleased I did because it got quite foggy mid afternoon.  So a real lazy afternoon in front of the fire.  Batteries recharged and ready to go hunting for amazing blips tomorrow.
