Breaking the ice

This afternoon we went to the Christmas Fair at Traquair House. The house and gardens were open, there were stalls selling Christmas stuff in some of the rooms and local choirs singing in the chapel. It was the perfect day for it - bright sunshine but frosty. The pond in the garden was frozen solid
