Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . . to be on track

Spent a lovely afternoon volunteering at the Carnforth Station Heritage Centre.

I haven't been there for a while so I had a lot to catch up on.  I was delighted to learn that they had recently won the the 'Small Attraction' category of the Lancashire Tourism Awards.  They had been finalists in 2013, 2014 and 2015 so it was well deserved.  And it means that in April next year they will be competing for the England Awards in London.

It's the most inspirational place to be as a volunteer - or a visitor.  Do come and see us if you are ever anywhere near . . . . .
