Notes from Today

Wanted to take full advantage of my last full day in Brazil this trip. The shore front of both Copacabana and Ipanema were dressed as if for full summer and they couldn't help but lift the spirits, as only this marvellous city can. At its best it is simply unbeatable!

I worked hard to draw this shot from the cycle path that fronts Copacabana beach, and felt a touch of excitement when I saw the rushes! Hope you enjoy!

Now posting from Arpoador watching the surfers and ready for the sunset, still a few hours off. DD encouraged me to have a nice lunch, so about to follow orders on the terrace of the Arpoador Inn!
