Pearl of Paisley

I met a friend in Paisley today. She used to be my boss years and years ago. She's moved on. I've moved on. We now have lots of children between us and a passion for art. The difference is, she lives in a bloody massive house with..."why does your friend have a church in her garden?"...lots of amazing features AND she's given up work to concentrate on her artistic career.

I'm quite surprised by the lack of jealousy I feel towards her. I desperately want her to get into art school and fulfil all her artistic dreams. I'll share in the joy with her over lots of champagne and hugs.

Of course I'd love to go to art school. Of course I would. But I can't give up my job (not sure I want to) and I get lazy with academic stuff anyway.

Nope. I'm happy to do what I do and grow in my own time. I would however like a building in my garden that I can convert into a secular church. Filled with light and simplicity. Yes, that would be very nice.
