Mono sunrise

This was Friday morning. I woke up early because I decided to go to work earlier. I had to attend a First Aid refresher course in the afternoon and I had quite a few things to do in the morning before that, so that's why.

The sky was quite something in the morning. Unfortunately, neither the camera I had on me nor my mobile phone managed to capture the beautiful red hues in the sky .None of the pictures I took made justice to the real thing. So, not happy with any of them, I decided to turn this shot in mono as I liked how the icy road looked in it. I took this shot on my way to work.

I had quite a hectic morning trying to get everything done before going to the First Aid refresher course and then I went to Dundee for the course. Dundee has a rather depressing look to it, I don't know what it is... However much I try to look at it positively, it just doesn't happen. I think one day I might manage to see some beauty in it. The course was good and I got to practice again CPR, recovery position and bandaging. I can save lives now! :)

As I've been having these on and off nosebleeds, I was dreading having one in the middle of the course but, luckily, it didn't happen. I had a nosebleed in the morning and another in the evening though... not happy about this.

Relaxing evening spent with Scott and off at the weekend! :)
