First frost.
We had our first real frost last night, certainly the first time we've had to defrost the car.
I was up before it was light and it was obviously foggy and frosty. As it got lighter the trees at the bottom of the road disappeared, but later out came the sun and we had bright blue skies at the back of the house and fog looking out of the front towards the Aire Valley.
When I headed outside to look for some frosty photos the Peacock was just rustling past. I'm sure it was a more rustly sound than usual as his tail feathers were frosted. Poor thing I don't know where he goes at night.
The fog hung on in the valleys for quite some time as was apparent on our way over to Keighley but it was a glorious bright and cold day for the most part. (Extra)
A good day for some garden tidying. The leaves were dropping off the Magnolia like mad, about time really.
