Reflections

As the days are getting shorter, the mornings are getting darker and the sun is very low in the sky.

The low sun, combined with the lovely, cold still weather, makes for some beautiful winter scenes, however. You can see the deep frost glistening on the stone of the bridge, and the low sunlight turned the sandstone buildings a deep russet colour. 

It's a favourite scene for me to blip, here it is again in February this year. and earlier this month too. Its incredible how different the light can look, just a few weeks later.
