The production of "King Lear" was magnificent. It's some of the most powerful and distressing drama ever written and when it is well performed, it is chilling. Our world is troubled at the moment in so many ways, and so often during the production well known sayings seemed to have a powerful message for our time. I suppose that's why Shakespeare is so eternally treasured.

This Lear is an uncomfortable experience, but unmissable.
