Lucky....purple....heather!!

Lovely day today.....21 degrees!!

We decided to have a barbie and you could have been treated to a picture of the yummiest prawns ever, or the loveliest glass of rose wine (maybe save that one for another day)!

But in the true spirit of yesterday's intended blip.....some heather!! The hills are a stunning purple colour round here at the moment and it's hard to do it justice.

Not "you can't see the wood for the trees" but you can't see the hills for the heather plants.....or something like that....you get the idea!!

This is a wee lone heather plant growing at our favourite swimming spot up the glen.

Relaxing day today but I know it won't last!!
