Morning frost

We do have frost in Kalmar. This morning opened with beautiful crystals in the grass and on the leaves. Our tiny pond had a thin ice crust and the air was thin and tingly. 

The variety of autumnwinter weather is quite spectacular, it can do anything and you never know what to wear. 
On my way to work, a trip of several minutes, I saw a girl on her way to school crouching by a puddle covered with night thin ice, poking at it with her bare fingers to make the ice break with a sound like when you're treding on glass. She must have felt powerful, at least she looked like she did.
