Flower Friday

Today’s task was hunt the sink protectors! You may well ask why. Wife makes “things” with Fleece. This year she has added a new line which is aimed at “amusing” dogs. Using said sink protector, fleece strips are threaded through its holes and tied making a very shaggy mat. The idea is to hide “treats” in the fleece so that the dog is amused seeking out the treats – well that’s the idea! Seems to work as there are repeat sales as well as new ones. 
Anyway all the local stores were out of stock so it was off to Milton Keynes where there are 3 stores that stock this item. In the first store there were five protectors, bought. In the second store only one, bought and in the third 13, bought – result.
 As a treat we thought we’d lunch out so went to The Chester Arms, Chicheley. It was our first visit; the welcome and service was superb as was the food and on our table was a mini chrysanthemum so that is my contribution to Flower Friday.
