Two little ducks.
It was another bitterly cold day today but nice and dry. Swannie was really wishing she had her camera this morning instead of a bus load of kids. There were three roe deer grazing in a very frost stubble field at first light. It would have made a super blip but she couldn't stop so she will just have to go up one morning when she is not working.
Instead, she went round to Gunknowe Loch on the way home from work this afternoon. Although Friday is an early finish, the sun had sunk behind the hills and there really wasn't enough light. More than half the surface is frozen and this mallard duck and drake must have had very cold feet. My paws are toasty because I'm sleeping by the radiator, I hope you are all keeping nice and warm too, lots of love, JJ, xx.
