SOOC

I haven't taken a photo today, but the above was emailed to me by the camera technician I use. This is the inside of my spare camera. I've never seen the gubbins of a DSLR before. I'm glad he's good at his job.

So, for those of you who are keen on SOOC - your camera had to employ all these bits and pieces, including a mini editing computer that has been programmed with thousands of jpegs, so that it can guess what sort of shot you've taken and edit it similarly. 

If you shoot RAW files, you get real SOOC, without the built in jpeg editing, and you get to edit the file yourself, much more fun.
