A little bit of local history...

It's been a lovely day, bright and sunny and not too cold.  Just right for a bit of a walk.  The photo is one of the two brick bunds that contained the aviation fuel storage tanks at Little Walden Aerodrome.

They are part of a small Essex Wildlife Trust nature reserve about 50 yards from the road and by the look of the place, very seldom visited.
