After the Lord Mayor's show.....

A very busy day today, but I still managed a bit of a walk this afternoon.
Encouraged by the success of yesterday's treecreeper and goldcrests, I went back to Risley for an hour or so before the sun went down.
Unfortunately, there was hardly anything around. I think they were all either doing early Black Friday shopping or celebrating Thanksgiving!
So today it was either a pigeon or a squirrel!!
For such a boring bird, this pigeon actually looks quite nice - well I like it anyway :))
After I got back home, I was back at my desk to finish off a training document for a meeting tomorrow morning. It took much longer than I thought it would. But it's done now!

I hope all our friends across the pond are having a wonderful thanksgiving and are ready for your very own Black Friday. I'm not a shopper and I for one, will be very happy when it's all over and my email box stops getting full up every couple of hours from every shop I have ever shopped at!!
