High Street from Gillcambon

A quiet morning but still fabulous weather so after lunch as Clickychick was out I decided to go for a walk in the forest.  As the frost was still quite hard I spent more time on the forest roads than usual.  I know from experience that while the roads can be hard the frost is slower to penetrate under the trees and is was likely to be soggy.

When I did venture off the forest roads I proved my theory to be correct it was very soggy.  However the beautiful day tempted me to reach parts of the forest I hadn't been to before which was good.

On the way back to the car I made a slight detour to look out over the access land on the castle estate.  My shot is the view looking over the land with a snow covered High Street in the background.
