First Old Sarum Night Time of the Winter
My heart just wasn't in my brief visit to Old Sarum Hillfort an hour ago.
At least the turgid thick grey cloud had cleared.
I had decided to get on a bus just too quickly to have packed a flask, donned thermals and put on an extra pair of socks. I even got the next bus back, instead of walking.
Without aforesaid items and tasks, the strong cold breeze blowing tested even the big heavy tripod as well as me and so i didn't even venture up onto the embankments, so here is one from the base looking back towards Salisbury (left hand side). The reddish brown hue (which I toned down) on the foreground is from street-lights.
