So, I left the house at 7.30am and there were no workmen in my house. I got home at 5.30pm and there were no workmen in the house. But, there was a brand new boiler and central heating system that had been fully installed in my absence. Plus some numerical markings like these on the floorboards in the hall.

The luxury of turning a tap on and having hot water come out is truly something to cherish. It's been a while...
