Leeds, Leeds, Leeds!

As an avid Leeds United fan, Monkey knew there could only be one Blip today. The Championship season kicked off today, along with all other football imaginable.

It's amazing how every time the football comes back around in mid August it always has a real sense of excitement about it, or maybe that's the feeling of another year of false hope that Leeds might get promoted this year being renewed?! Who knows..

Sis Ri was lucky enough to be at the game, the swine! I haven't been to Elland Road for a number of years, but hopefully this year I'll be able to make it up there; hopefully in the year of our promotion back to the Premiership.

Leeds won 1-0 with a goal from the reliable & very talented Luciano Becchio, shooting us to a whopping 8th in the table (praying our finish at the end of the season will be slightly better than that - arms, legs & tales crossed fellow monkeys!).
