Sunrise

Up early made scones for pals who we had arranged to visit.

Had to spread sand on the road from cottage as it was a sheet of ice.


A slow journey north on initially ungritted roads. Stunning winter landscape of snowy peaks and frozen lochs and trees.

Made it to tarbet with gritting the last slope before the descent.

A great time catching up with the pearces and hearing all the news.

Lovely meal and a night drive home. It was freezing but the kids still love night drives. Loads of deer, white hare and a barn owl seen.

A great family day out.
