Our neighbour's new toy pet.
Not old enough to be let out yet - not old enough to know that you are not meant t crap in your owner's hand when he is carrying you.

Strange light in the sky this morning ........ orange glow to the north-west and the south-east but nothing elsewhere (see extras).

Lots of wee pictures printed for making up and photo book of picture from Italy --  the book is handmade paper bound in Italian leather. Now I have to cut down the selection of images so they will fit ...... and start writing whatever I am going to put with the pictures.
Where did I put those photo-corners?

2nd competition at the camera club.
What a joke!
According to the judge every picture needed to be completely different from what was presented, needed cropped and if it was a silhouette 'it is too dark and there is not enough detail in the shadows'. All shots where there was a far bank, harbour wall etc. running away from the viewer 'the horizon isn't straight' (even if everything screams it is not meant to be).
He was inconsistent in his comments and marks to the extent that he pointed out that one print (by an advanced worker I may add) did not fall within the title of the competition and then gave it 18 marks!!!! (2nd highest mark for Gods sake).
I gave up and walked out when he was only 2/3rds of the way through the projected images and had even reached the advanced work.
Not that he was going to manage to get to them anyway because it was kicking out time.

A terrible end to what had been such a good day.
